MEDIA
Metamedia is an educational platform for journalism, storytelling and development of new media. Metamedia was launched in 2020 as an online platform to support independent media and research projects, organise trainings and consultations for journalist and multimedia materials. The platform brings together editorial offices, journalist associations and media organisations from Eastern Europe and Germany for cross-border collaboration.

Programs

Metamedia Lab
Financial and mentoring support for journalism projects, workshops, programs for development of small and regional media. Metamedia Lab runs online trainings on international journalism, investigative journalism and data visualisation, ecology and global challenges as well as providing resource support for publications, launching and developing media projects. The programme provides mentoring and financial support for the production of interactive and multimedia stories. Participants will learn the tools, platforms and approaches of interactive storytelling. The programme includes webinars on the principles of digital storytelling and sessions about the concept development, layout, production and promotion of interactive stories. Deadline for applications: April 15, 2022.

German News Service — first-hand reports about Germany and the world
You can access content from the German news service dpa and use texts and images in your media for free, without attribution. The GNS platform launched by Deutsche Welle exists as a separate website and a daily newsletter in 6 languages, including Russian. Further details, examples of materials and registration are available at the following link. German News Service also provides support for the publication of editorial projects using materials of dpa.
